Talk: “Another Queen’s Shilling” Club member Brigadier Keith Hudson will give an insight on aspects of his career with The Army Catering Corps including many interesting facts and amusing stories leading up to his command of the Corp.  Keith is an extremely accomplished speaker and very amusing.  Well worth attending if you have a service interest or want to listen to a very good speaker.

Talk: “Bells for St George, Ypres”

A fascinating and engrossing story that weaves together the Heroes of the First world war and the social history of bell ringing.

Our speaker Alan Regin MBE, tells of how a small group of bell ringers raised funds to have a peel of bells made and transported to a church by the war graves at Ypres in the 21st century. 

An absolute must for those interested in WW1 history and church bells .
